Maize silage
Retains Nutrient Value
1132 maize silage inoculant retains nutrient value through faster, more efficient fermentation. Silage ferments faster and more effectively with this maize-silage-specific inoculant to retain greater nutrient value. 1132 was developed specifically for maize silage to provide improved animal performance. It contains multiple strains of bacteria selected specifically for maize silage. 1132 contains 125 billion colony forming units (CFU) per gram from multiple strains of Lactobacillus plantarum and Enterococcus faecium.
- Promote a faster, more efficient fermentation
- Reduce dry matter loss
- Improve whole plant digestibility
- Reduce heating and runoff
- Improves palatability leading to increased animal intake
- Improve silage quality
- Retain more feed to produce more milk or meat
- 28 per cent reduction in ammonia nitrogen
- 11.8 per cent improvement in liveweight gain
- 10.9 per cent improvement in feed efficiency
- Every $1 spent on 1132 inoculant returns $5.12 in milk production income
1132 is proven in independently conducted, Australian animal performance trials
