Maize silage
Fresher maize silage for longer
A new revolutionary, crop-specific inoculant that helps improve forage quality.
Pioneer® inoculant 11C33 contains Lactobacillus buchneri, Lactobacillus plantarum and Enterococcus faecium, novel proprietary strains of bacteria that help enhance the nutritional quality and reduce the potential for heating during storage and in the bunker. It speeds up fermentation and lowers pH more quickly than untreated maize silage, resulting in better quality and increased nutrient value and helps retain maize silage quality at feedout, which can lead to better animal performance.
- Improves dry matter recovery by up to 2.5 per cent compared to an untreated control.
- Reduces heat, increasing silage life in the bunker and silage stability.
- Improves animal performance compared to 1132 inoculant.
